Dr. Francis Su

Dr. Francis Su is Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College, and past president of the Mathematical Association of America. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and his research is geometric combinatorics. He received the 2001 Hasse Prize for expository writing, and the 2013 Haimo Award for distinguished teaching from the Mathematical Association of America. He authors the popular Math Fun Facts (opens new window) website and is creator of the iOS math news app MathFeed (opens new window) (also on Twitter (opens new window)). His book Mathematics for Human Flourishing (opens new window) will be published by Yale University Press in 2019.
